My goal being a private teacher is certainly to develop in my students a deep recognition and self-assurance in answering exam questions and being able to tackle unfamiliar issues. The base of my theory is the idea that learning occurs in an atmosphere of mutual respect where the student is supported to think and make links on their own. According to my experience one-to-one personal training has a special value to students because of the opportunity to break down the children' personal obstacles to study in a manner that lays the roots for a thorough and long-term comprehension of the course.

Analytic thinking

My approach differs depending on the student's learning style and needs. My teaching theory is based on motivating children to think on their own, operating real-world models as long as possible. |To my mind it is very important to supply scholars with a working skills and to teach them analytical abilities for development upon this knowledge. Tutoring anyone to think critically is at the base of things that a scholar needs to withdraw off any subject course.

The most important contribution

The most lasting contributions a teacher are able to bring in is training students, and it is a technique, which I find enjoyable and rewarding. From my practice, I learned the importance of engaging learners with the help of patterns and of pitching information at a level which implies brainpower but not always knowledge, blending the unknown with the known within a mix that brings the scholar the disposition of possibility instead of that of impossibility that impressive and formal approaches may inflict.

My teaching tricks

I start from themes the learners are familiar with and move gradually towards more complex sectors seeing that their peace of mind is being grown. I really don't lecture to students or tell them to memorise things.

I usually focus on test-style or former paper questions to confirm, practice and improve the child's accepting and practice. I also give a lot of emphasis to some of the not so much evident yet crucial skills like essay technique and structure, logical thought, and the powerful use of graphs and numbers.
